the reason captain hooke was afraid of the crocodile in peter pan

Peter pan

Captain Hooke:  you see young fellow.. my son is two years old now.. but back then.. he was only a few months.. and they said he had to be on board the ship.. they said he had to be on board the ship..

young squire:  why?..

Captain Hooke:  i dunno .. the same reason i suppose they said young children had to be abducted at an early age from their families in plato's republic ancient sparta and made to serve the state as soldiers of a philosopher's rebulpici..

young squire:  what's a repbuplic

captain hooke:  i'm not sure.. something to do with a republican.. or a pub in ireland.. so sorry.. it was like whenever the crocodile came near me.. i imagined carrying the little bundle.. my little baby son in swathes.. in my arms .. and then i just imagined him slipping out.. slipping out like a bar of soap.. and the croccodilee.. i don't think the crocodile meant to be mean... maybe someday he'll become the company mascot.. maybe he's not inwardly malicious.. i don't know know .. i just don't know..

young squire:  i don't know either.. i like you too..

captain hoooke:  i quite like ya laddy

tinker bell:  - arriving - witwee mite me like you too hooky..

peter man:  - off in the distant coven - me... too....
