Body found near Grand River in Belwood by local fisherman
A
fisherman has located the body of a young boy near Grand River in
Belwood on Saturday, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
Wellington
County OPP received a call around 3 p.m. regarding reports of a
body in the water. Officers are currently on scene investigating
the incident and North Broadway St. between 10th St. and Sixth St.
are closed.
Police
were unable to comment on whether this could be connected to the
Kaden
Young
investigation — involving a three-year-old boy who was swept away
about 10 kilometres downstream in floodwaters.

Paul Nancekivell says OPP are wary of releasing identification this
soon after what happened in Saskatchewan, when the victim of a
fatality was wrongly identified.

Wellington County OPP received a call around 3 p.m. regarding
