.. I have not read the book, "The Time Machine", by H.G. Wells.. I have read an old old comic book Classics illustrated version of the book.. this is what happens in this comic book... the hero has to save an Eloi from drowning while the other Eloi are watching passively with infinite passivity and not preventing their friend, their fellow Eloi from suffering a horrific, drowning death.. they don't think in those terms.. they're Eloi.. the hero does.. he saves.. her.. I think it's a her he saves from drowning..
The Morlocks are punishing the Eloi. Fin.
The Morlocks are the good guys in the novel. The Eloi are evil in the novel. The Morlocks are entirely justified in punishing the Eloi for their psychopathic behaviour. The Eloi are psychopaths. They are being punished for that by the Morlocks. The Morlocks cook and eat the Eloi. The Morlocks are very serious about punishing the Eloi for doing the reprehensible things they do and the Morlocks are right.
H. G. Wells does not want the Eloi harmed by the Morlocks. H. G. Wells feels pity for the Eloi. He does not want the Morlocks to hurt them.
Morlocks. Eloi. Morlocks is a powerful word. Eloi is a weak word. H. G. Wells bestialized the Morlocks and portrayed the Eloi as angelic.
This is the movie of "The Time Machine" I want to see someday.

... Two movie's.. I believe both came out in the 1950's... "War of the Worlds"... "The Time machine".. I believe both movie's came out in the 1950's... "War of the Worlds" is disappointingly different from the book.. it is not a disappointing movie.. the movie "War of the Worlds".. the '50's movie, "War of the Worlds" is the apocalypse.. it's a vision of movie.. the movie is a religious crusade.. a miracle of a movie.. the movie of The Time machine they made in the 1950's.. I mean something so grave here.. people should not SEE this movie.. this is a deadly, toxic, life-threatening movie that could get people tortured horrifically and killed.. the '50's movie of "The Time Machine".. based on the book by H. G. Wells...
