While there is a HBO Max series currently in development, what folks are really looking forward to see is the character back on the big screen, where he can join the Justice League. The artwork looks breathtaking, with Tom Cruise flying above Earth in a battered suit. The concept design makes it look as if Cruise’s Hal Jordan just came back from fighting a villain like Sinestro. Should the DCEU ever want to expand to the cosmos, Cruise would be a great choice to play Green Lantern. The actor has proven time and time again that he’s more than capable of leading successful movies. While the cinematic name of Green Lantern may have been tarnished due to Ryan Reynolds’ portrayal of the character, Cruise is the perfect actor to get butts into seats.
