Home Superheroes Marvel Cinematic Universe The Avengers: 13 Fascinating Behind-The-Scenes Facts About The Marvel Movie By Will Ashton published December 10, 2020 The Cast of Marvel's The Avengers (2012) With Marvel movies now commonplace at the multiplex, one can forget how big of a deal it was when Joss Whedon's The Avengers stormed into theaters. In the end, Zak Penn only shares a story credit with Whedon, as his stamp is all over this bad boy — both as a director and writer.
