The biggest disappointment of Gail Simone's life must be that she brought back Catman into the post-crisis.. just imagine what could have happened if the truly wonderful and miraculous writer G. Willow Wilson had brought back Catman into the post-crisis much, much, much later.. instead of.. after.. okay.. I only read issue #5 of 'Villains United', written by Gail Simone but Catman was a true miracle a flawless miracle of a character in that issue.. after.. maybe is it called 'Time Tovaritch Time' that could happen with Catman's collusion with the vicious, satanic and sadistic Scandal Savage in that he wants to release Gunbunny from her torture.. he wants to let her go.. in the truly horrific issue #2 of 'Secret Six', written also by Gail Simone.. Deadshot's abuse of the women he battles either in issue #1 or issue #2 of 'Secret Six', written by Gail Simone.. that's a really, really queasy feeling.. considering that Deadshot is the big-hero man and that these women who were also scantily-clad were portrayed as 'the villains'.. in what seems like.. see-.. it's how Gail Simone writes.. and considering this.. it really should bother me less that Catman, in a really disgusting way, Scandal Savage.. and.. cruelly.. Knockout herself.. all three people are divorced from the mores of the society that I have always known to be the society of planet earth that would recognized the cheating partner to ONLY be Knockout herself and not Deadshot at all even a little bit.. so that's Gail Simone with a really weird twist of how Gail Simone ends up writing just like the truly weird and it really seems unprecedented Joss Whedon style of writing-twist with Tom Hiddleston's Loki arrested by the Avengers at the conclusion of the first Avengers movie.. in 'Thor', directed by Kenneth Branagh.. Tom Hiddleston's Loki had a truly heroic death-scene at the conclusion of that Kenneth Branagh- directed film: 'Thor'.. one of the most courageous, fearless death scenes of a villain in a movie is the death of Alan Rickman's Hans Gruber at the conclusion of 'Die Hard', directed by the powerful director, John McTiernan.. (.. I hope I'm spelling his name right..).. okay.. I'm going off topic here.. I can't believe the look of pure fearless rage on Alan Rickman's Hans Gruber's face as he falls to his death.. and the look of quietism and compassion on Tom Hiddleston's Loki's face as he releases his hand from anchorage and plummets into an abyss at the conclusion of 'Thor', directed by Kenneth Branagh.. I'll never forget the cry of sorrow of the wonderful Chris Helmsworth's Thor when this happens.. what I mean is that this is actually how Joss Whedon himself writes..
