Nils Möllerberg was mainly autodidact but for a while he was a student at A. Bundgaard in Copenhagen (1908-10) and Christian Eriksson (1910-12). He lived in Paris between 1919 and 1928 and was impressed by Aristide Maillol and Auguste Rodin. Möllerberg was one of the 13 who founded Color and Form 1932 as well as a sculpture school in Stockholm with Bror Hjorth. He was a member of the Royal Academy of Sciences from 1931 and became professor in 1953.
