Greg rucka: see, jill the ripper loved children.. she protected children.. that's why i based my wonder woman on jill the ripper.. she protected young boys especially... i just never never never thought it would end up her being avenging young boys from teenage teenage teenage girls girls girls like medusa.. it was a horrornude wonder woman.. i wanted her to be the daughter of christ, so i insisted she had no connection, biological or otherwise, with any previous wonder woman.. she was a completely different woman.. i just didn't get this important information through.. i'm sorry real sorry.. maxwell lord was there from my very first issue.. he was meant to be the other jonah.. jonah was almost like a young, very heroic j. Jonah jameson.. checkmate was going to be big in the wonder woman comic.. but checkmate was always going to be the good guys.. like SHIELd.. shit.. . so my wonder woman was jill the ripper.. and the going got difficult from theron... theron.. thor.. mighty thor.. walt simonson should have stayed on the book.. much, much, longer..


and yes, mary piercey was the basis for veronica cale... who was NEVER supposed to kill anyone.. that was the very worst feeling I had about veronica cale when she poisons a woman to death.. and has sex afterward.. that was terrible.. worst feeling I ever had...
