Another version of the Lion King coming to movie theatres.. this one by John Favreau... ?... a CGI-photorealistic version of the Lion King directed by John Favreau.. will Scar be different this time around... ?.. will we get a version of the hte Lion King this time that won't cause little girls too cry "I don't like the Lion King!".. while walking with their mother down the street.. Will Scar be different if he's voiced by Alan Rickman.. Robert Downey junior and Jeremy Irons .. all three actors again.. all under the name of .. a different actor...?... (medusa)...

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. THR has an interesting story saying that Jon Favreau has zeroed in on two pretty perfect people to voice Timon and Pumbaa for his Lion King adaptation.
He already has Donald Glover for Simba and James Earl Jones coming back to voice Mufasa (who else, right?) and now he's in talks with Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen to voice Timon and Pumbaa.

Yeah, that's pretty much spot on, isn't it?
I assume Favreau will be going for a photo-real look to this Lion King adaptation if his turn at The Jungle Book is any indicator. It's not like you can call this one live action adaptation if there aren't any humans in it. His version Shere Khan was super scary. I can't imagine what his Scar will be like.
Curious to see how this one turns out. You?
