They need to cast Monica Bellucci as Queen Hippolyta in Wonder Woman. posted 11 years ago by Forsaken-El She is the perfect candidate for that role by far, sure Lucy Lawless is a fan favorite, but the reason why I prefer Monica over Lucy, is because Monica Bellucci and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) have strong mediterranean accents, it's only natural to have Amazons sound completely foreign, therefore they should all have similar backgrounds. I just hope Warner Bros are seriously considering her for this particular part, she is the ideal choice, not to mention Monica and Gal look very much a like in their facial features, I could totally see them as Mother and Daughter. reply share
