Tim Robbins will play a down- and - out depression era multi-talented screenwriter who works with David Cahane, another multi-talented screenwriter.  The thing is, David Cahane is in awe of Tim Robbins because it takes literally, to Cahane's thinking, years for David to write what only take minutes for Tim to write - "how did you do that WRITE that tim it take me years literally YEARS to write what take you like seconds minutes SECONDS.."

The Player will be a very depressing movie...
