The Birth of Venom in Spider Man 4.. by Sam Raimi..
It's the costume. It was always about the Black Side of Things. A Thing Baby. Was Venom. It was Venom as Poison. It was Birth as Poison. It was Venom. It was.. a play on words. It was a character so terrifying, so horrifying, so inhumanly, unspeakably terrifying beyond terror beyond the soul horror of innocen, affrighted women.. of Ophelia's.. of Ophelia's.. that a Wakeian pun had to made out of the name and we came up with.. not Lyndon B. Johnson.. but with.. Venom. Venom. Venom. A character to draw fear out of the depths of Mary Jane-Watson Parker's courageous soul.. They said Mary Jane was courage and she truly was. So Venom became the fear the courage of May Jane's soul. It was perhaps the firebrand hair of Mary Jane Watson, her ocean hair. It was about women with short, red, curly hair like the hair of .. of Archie.. of Archie.. women with short, curly, red hair just like no different whatsoever than the hair of Jimmy Olsen. Alan Rickman said it was the girls too. And it was.. It actually was. Because it was women adult women with the hair of Jimmy Olsen who .. the shear physical terror that these women had of what a character with a name similar.. to.. to Venom would physically do to them.. and for that reason alone.. Eddie Brock became a man named Venom.. and made himself.. rather silly and innocuous.. rather Ferris Bueller.. Ferris Beuller Venom.
