Loki (Hanno Jason Leigh):..".. and only a writer of much, much, much, much greater literary ambition than Neil Gaiman can truly write definitively about Norse mythology... a writer who is as much of an underachiever as Neil Gaiman is cannot possibly be considered someone who can write authoritatively about Norse Mythology .. or about any species of Mythology.. at all... and I'd much, much rather be a writer like myself who's work has astounding literary merit but may sometimes contain grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.. than be a grammatically impeccable writer who writes as many... as hideously many truly weakly written comic books.. as Neil Gaiman has.. "...


Loki (Hanno Jason Leigh):..".. and would The Comics Journal honestly feel it has a leg to stand on if it plans on defending the truly many, many badly written comic books that constitute a large bulk of Neil Gaiman's run on.. "The Sandman"... and I can't believe what horrible writing it is for Lucifer Morningstar to not even mention stand-up comic, "Flip Wilson".. when he says that he never made anyone do anything.. and how thuddingly weak an understanding that is of who the devil or Mephistopheles or Lucifer or Satan actually has been to Christopher Marlowe, Goethe, Thomas Mann, Dostoevsky (.. the Devil appears in.. "The Brothers Karamazov'..).. and Milton..."...
