I think it may have been in the month of March of the year 2000... and the break-up of Winona Ryder and Matt Damon had been recently ever so recently been announced on the internet.. and their was a scary Mark Wahlberg rumour that Winona Ryder had cheated on Matt Damon with Mark Wahlberg.. and this rumour was supposed to have surfaced while Matt Damon and Winona Ryder were on vacation.. out of town.. and when they came back Winona Ryder was supposed to be "livid".. at the rumour.. according to reports on the internet..

         .. the second rumour was that Matt Damon had started seeing Penelope Cruz and that that was involved with Mattt Damon no longer being with Winona Ryder.. I think this was the most amorphous of the rumours...

          .. the third rumour was that Dana had not only defrauded Matt Damon.. but I think it was that Winona Ryder and Matt Damon had something like.. a joint bank-investment fund.. or.. that Winona Ryder's and Matt Damon's personal money were entangled with each other.. so that when Dana was supposed to have stolen from Matt Damon..

                    .. I can't remember clearly.. but I think Dana was supposed to have stolen at least a million dollars from Winona Ryder..

              .. consequentially... I think it really was a million dollars..

                     .. when confronted about these rumours.. Winona Ryder's representative (.. her.. "rep".. ).. she .. I think Winona Ryder's representative / rep was female... and she said this rumour was.. ".. absolutely false.."..

               .. it's that .. when San Francisco film critic Ruth Stein encountered Winona Ryder at a celebration in Winona Ryder's honour.. held at San Francisco..

.. Chicago newspaper columnist Ray Pride wrote in his colunn for a Chicago newspaper that was on the internet.. he wrote.. that .. Ruth Stein was.. "badgering".. Winona Ryder.. that Ruth Stein was saying over and over again.. ".. where is Matt Damon.. where is Matt Damon..".. and that Winona Ryder responded.. in Ray Pride's words.. in the column .. in this Chicago newspaper on the internet.. Winona Ryder responded.. with.. a.. ".. clipped smile..".. that's the Ray Pride quote..

       … and that when Winona Ryder came back to this San Francisco celebration on a following day.. and Ruth Stein had written amiably in her San Francisco newspaper on the internet.. that Winona Ryder showing up alone gave / lent credence to the rumour / theory that.. ".. Matt Damon had taken up with Penelope Cruz.."... but NOWHERE in this column that she wrote did Ruth Stein even SUGGEST that Matt Damon had cheated.. on Winona Ryder..
