Hippolyta (Sigourney Weaver) : ..".. you see .. beautiful girl Diana... we lived the amazons by a complex simplicity as Amazons of a peaceful ethos of insularity.. we shunned technology.. high technology.. such as.. you know.. television.. the internet.. even movie's ... all these media-tech were shunned and forbidden from our tribal amazon ways.. we .. we distrusted the media of technology.. and lived by the media of .. of bamboo.. of media bamboo-parchments.. of media braid-making.. of media porcelain crystal pearls.. and of media textile weavery.. and we did dance.. the Amazons lived to DANCE.. and we held friendly tribal dance competition.. but we are not the amazon cultures of mediaeval amazons ancient cultures old who bred themselves to be amazon warriors.. we are an amazon culture of non-warriors... and then..

Civilization found the amazon tribes.. first it was friendly helicopters.. and we welcomed these helicopters happily... it .. it wasn't the helicopters.. they weren't the reason.. the helicopters were on scholars quests... on scholars quests.. what happened was.. arcane, uncanny.... armies.. vast armies of what I can only call armies of.. civilization.. came.. civilization.. civilization.. civilization... whole civilization Empires came and like a carniverous animals after the herbivore amazons of our amazons tribes.. these Civilizatiom Empires .. they devoured.. ate into our very heartland amazon tribal.. like fire .. like very.. flames.. flames.. licks of fire devouring a map.. Civilization.. Vast armies of nothing but Civilization came and .. to these armies of Civilization.. us .. we tribal cultures of amazons were nothing.. but.. (Hippolyta starts crying, breaking down..).. Savages.. savages.... to teh mighty.. the most Civilization.. to the man who led these armies of Civilization.. the greatest man of the Renaissance Greek who preceded those men of the Renaissance italian.. the Greek Renaissance Man who preceded men such as Michaelangela, Leanord da Vinci... that man was Heracles, a man of all trades, a Jack of all trades and arts and technological crafts. Heracles (Robert de Niro).. a man who had studies three dozen arts and sciences .. and man who had studies the pinnacles of Greek Athenian urban engineering, this man was Heracles.. the sole, single, exlusive leader of these vast, carniverous armies of Civilization.. to thi Great, Great Greek Athens Renaissance Man, Heracles.. we tribal simple, peace-loving amazons were something other than .. savages... something very different to goodman Heracles.. something very different indeed.. and Heracles (Robert de Niro) and myself, Queen Hippolyta (Sigourney Weaver).. we both.. became.. dear daughter Diana .. we both became.. heh.. lovers.."
