After a kidnap attempt by The Fiend With Nine Eyes, Bruce Wayne began beating on the costumed criminal in the dark. Jezebel caught the end of the fight just as the bat-signal could be seen outside the window. She put two and two together and exclaimed that she now knew that Bruce Wayne is Batman.
Later, during the story arc "Batman R.I.P", it was revealed that Jezebel was a member of the Black Glove, an evil team focused on killing the "Gotham Knight". She came very close to dating Bruce Wayne; however, eventually she was seen working with Dr. Hurt in an unsuccessful effort to kill Batman.
Talia Al Ghul wanted to keep Bruce's identity safe, so she sent her League Of Assassinsto kill Jezebel Jet. The League of Assassins had Man-Bat formula flowing through their veins and destroyed her plane. At the time, it was unknown whether she had died or survived. Later, her disembodied head was found by Batman during a battle against Leviathan.
