The Warren Police Department said that the 62-year-old man was showing his daughter how to parallel park when the incident happened. The unidentified pair were practicing in the 24000 block of Warner Ave, some 13 miles away from the iconic Fox Theatre, the Detroit Free Press reported. The police officials said that they rushed to the scene after they responded to a 4pm call on Sunday. The father was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The Warren Police Department is continuing its investigation, the outlet reported. No charges have been filed. The police have ruled out drugs and alcohol as a factor in this tragic accident. They added that the family, including the daughter, is fully cooperating with the investigators. The officials said that the preliminary evidence is consistent with the daughter’s description of the crash, CBS News reported.
