Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston Talking Again
4/16Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are talking again, Gossip Cop confirms. We’re told the ex-spouses recently connected and have had “friendly communications” with each other.
The new issue of Us Weekly reports that Pitt has “been texting” with his ex-wife amid his tumultuous divorce from Angelina Jolie. The exchange reportedly began last month when the actor wished Aniston a happy birthday after getting her cellphone number through “a tangled web” of contacts. “They started talking once he wished her a happy birthday,” explains the magazine’s insider.
The publication’s source further reveals that Pitt “has confided in Jen” about his difficult divorce and subsequent custody battle, adding, “Brad told her he’s having a hard time with his split and they exchanged a few texts reminiscing about the past.” According to the outlet’s insider, Aniston’s husband Justin Theroux “is OK with them being friends,” and understands “Jen just wants to be nice.”
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Pitt to verify Us Weekly’s report, and we’re also told he and Aniston “have connected and are in fact in touch.” And while it’s likely some tabloids will falsely spin the situation into a romantic reunion, we’re further told their chats have simply been “friendly communications” and nothing more.
