Entertainment Weekly spent a lot of time with director Zack Snyder on set and in the editing room for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and he revealed that screenwriter Chris Terrio has already completed the script for Justice League. I’m assuming that means Justice League Part One, which is due out in November 2017. Justice League Part Two will hit theaters in 2019.
Speaking of the Justice League, Wonder Woman’s role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will help set all that up. “She plays a super-important part,” Snyder said. “In a lot of ways, she’s the gateway drug to the rest of the Justice League.”
It’s a little surprising to hear that the script for Justice League is already done, but maybe once Zack Snyder and Chris Terrio started working on the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice script they just kept going. Entertainment Weekly says the two locked themselves in a room with lots of Diet Coke and plotted the story visually, like a giant cave painting. “Chris would talk and I would draw and it was basically this weird mural of the movies with no words,” Snyder explained.
