Errol Flynn and Basil Rathbone.. a magnificent, magnificent, ultra-magnificent prolonged fencing scene.. it's... arrghhh.. I KNOW.. I KNOW... it's the scene where Basil Rathbone drops his fencing sword and Errol Flynn's.. sniff... Robin Hood gestures for Basil Rathbone to pick it up again.. sniff.. and Basil Rathbone.. does.. and then they continue fencing.. that's because Errol Flynn Robin Hood is no longer far, far worse than Eclipso demonically possessed.. yeth the demonic-possession of Errol Flynn's Robin Hood up to that point in the movie was Peter Verhoensky (ethan hawke) - level demonic possession.. but then the demonic possession leaves Errol Flynn's Robin Hood.. and he becomes … Nikolai Stavgrogin.. he becomes the consummate gentleman Nikolai Stavrogin Robin Hood.. and he gestures with good Stavrogin gentlemanly courtesy for Basil Rathbone to pick up his fencing sword again.. it's .. pure Hamlet.. pure Hamlet..."...
