Wonder Woman, sorry, I'm wondering non-ending about something that is after the fact, that justifies after the fact.. the reparations payments that were extorted from Germany by the Allies after Germany's defeat in World War 1... these were economic sanctions weren't they.. the German reparation payments after World War 1 were what economic sanctions are, aren't they..?... the Reparations against Germany so brutalized the Germany economy that when inflation sky-rocketed in Germany in the 1920's... the female author of "Berlin Solstice" writes of men carrying around pails of coins that amounted in sum total to sum change.. carrying pails of coins, two pails, at the end of a stick you carried on your back.. this was inflation in Germany in the 1920's... but Obama in his I believe his last State of the Union address spoke of the imperativeness of brutalizing, of destroying the Russian economy, of the Russian PEOPLE, I believe he Obama said.. he may have said it because the lunacy of it may have been to incredible for anyone at the TIME to believe or take seriously.. but times change quickly over the matter of a few years in respect to things like that.. soon it will be seen as the right thing to do to economically brutalize the people of Russia, as Obama said in his State of the Union address.. time and rightness will have caught up with this aspect of his speech, which otherwise may have been intended by him as a Swiftian or Wildian sleight-of-hand.. or as something that George Bernard Shaw would have said... maybe in a prologue to "Marjor Barbara"... Maybe if Obama wanted to be George Bernard Shaw he would have said that if the Russian economy is broken in any single iota.. you must simply scrap the Russian economy and start over from scratch.. the same way you scrap a nuclear armament or nuclear missile or especially a space shuttle if a single particle of a malfunction is inherent in the technology.. how many millions or billions of dollars are scrapped with it are is immaterial.. Obama could have said the same thing about the Russian economy.. if he were George Bernard Shaw... so how does all this apply to the Reparations payments which the Allies exerted against Germany after World War 1.. could Shaw exercise irony in respect to this theme and subject as well.. their was no such irony when it was documented by Winston Churchill in his book, "The Gathering Storm".. He outright condemned these Reparations as devastating and in-conceived, ill-handled, probably incompetent, without logic or rhyme or reason.. all these words and sentiments are evident in how Winston Churchill writes about the Reparations against Germany after World War 1... but what bothers me .. is "make the punishment fit the crime".. the punishment - reparations against Germany -.. CREATES the crime.. in a retrospective arrangement of affairs.. like we're nostalgic now for a Nazi Germany in World War ONE.. because Germany at the end of this war was punished by Reparations that cripple the German economy and devastatingly punished the people of Germany.. "
