Ext. Shot of outer space. A multicoloured art deco ship arrives and heads to meet with the Imperial Starship. “The Imperial March” is playing.

Int. Shot of Imperial Starship. Stormtroopers are arrayed in formation. An imperial official goes to meet the ship.

Imperial official – All ready to meet Admiral Thrawn.

Admiral Thrawn appears out of the sliding flat escalator exit of the ship which has landed. He starts walking jauntily down the stormtrooper arrayed central path, as an updated jaunty version of the Imperial March starts playing. Admiral Thrawn is doing a military dance, in all rectitude of kickster art to military heel-stride. General Paladin, played by Kenneth Branagh, is behind him, also dancing, reaching his arms rythmically into the air behind the figure of Admiral Thrawn.

Admiral Thrawn: - to a stormstrooper – Not drunk enough yet? Here. - Thrawn takes out a tequila bottle from his breast pocket and opens it – Here's rhemy for you. It'll help with the fatigue of standing in formation. - The Stormtrooper removes his helmet and accepts gratefully -

A brown hooded figure is on a misty desert planet, approaching a village. He lifts his hood. It's Luke Skywalker. The scene fades back and forth between flashbacks from “Return of the Jedi” of Luke Skywalker being taken to the Emperor by Darth Vader and Luke being alone on the desert T. S. Eliot Wasteland planet.

A prolonged flashback of Luke's final battle with Darth Vader happens. It begins as Luke enters the Emperor's throne room. A red crimson Imperial guard is focused on and removes the mask, revealing a woman's face. Mara Jade. Played by Uma Thurman.

The scene projects into the near future as Luke is battling Darth Vader and an uncloacked Mara Jade is huddled beside the Emperor's throne, hidden and watching the battle with fearful concern for Luke. Luke is agressively fighting Darth Vader, ready to kill him.

Luke's thoughts: death to me... death to the teh darth ways.. death death and more death among the violets.. death kille suicide my soul.. lil' death.. i am an death kill kill KILL KILL LUKE SKYWALKER KILL LUKE SKYWALKER...

Senator Palpitine is lying in bed. A shadow falls over his face like a dark autumn leaf. An aged sadness falls over his features. The open window shines in the starry black sky in a menacing fashion, as if the sky is a dark spirit which is hovering over Palpitine, as if the very stars will betray him. He moans quietly. Shadows congregate around his bedroom menacingly, coalescing together into patterns of decay.

Senator Palpitine is talking to Queen Amidala.

Palpitine: I- I had.. someone.. in my.. life.. as such.. once... a.. a girl... a small girl.. and.. what happened?... what happened?... I.. I.. lost her.. like losing a book in a park... or on the street... she.. darkness.. pitch.. like dark coals.. darkness.. claimed her... because.. she was.. simply frail.. like a delicate flower... which disintegrated at the merest breath... (pause) .. I lacked.. the will.. the strength.. the simple sense of godly power.. to keep her.. anchored.. to the light.. and I knew.. I would never fail.. in power.. in will.. again. Will, my failure was will. Never again.

Queen Amidala: Perhaps.. perhaps you never failed her. Perhaps she will always remember you never failed her. Flowers grow from the darkest, richest soil.. perhaps there is some dark soil.. in the darkness.. which is still.. keeping the flower alive.

Palpitine's daughter's name is Loyola.  She is played by Winona Ryder.  She is Lady Palpitine. Anakin the second goes to Dagobah, enters the dark cave in which Luke met the phantom Darth Vader. He goes deep into it, into its most dream-like, metaphysical regions, where the surround cave seems like dream-like jelly, until he is simply surrounded by darkness, and by transient phantoms whisking by him. He feels like a phantom himself. He is no longer standing on ground. He is hovering in the air, above utter blackness. Then, he sees an image. A girl, a young woman, with a phantom white face, with a greenish tinge about her face. He reaches out for her. She makes a plaintive expression. She reaches out, and then falls back into the darkness. He yells out. No answer. Suddenly, he's on the outside of the cave. Like he's on automata, he gets into his X-wing and flies off from Dagobah. Then, the scene remains on Dagobah, and we see a figure, covered a brown hood, in the corner of the screen. The figure looks up, and then begins floating upward into the air, into the distant sky, into outer space.
 

There is a painting by Manet, of a woman named, I believe, Victorienne. She looks like Lady Palpitine. She has her skin pallour. Lady Palpitine talks in an eternal acoustic whisper, as if she's always speaking underwater.
