Good Will Hunting 2.. scene..

Will Hunting (Matt Damon): ..."... those television messages.. they just happened.. I had no choice but to listen to them.. and then.. they were so interesting.. and then they flaked out on me.. and I never got a chance to do what I came here to do.. read my novel in Italien.. learn italien.. learn italien.. study italien.."

Elsa (Minnie Driver): ..".. but Norton (Stellan Skarsgarde) was on television talking about Polonius.."

Will Hunting: ..".. yeah.. heh.. he was, wasn't he.. "

Elsa: ..".. he said something about Polonius that I'll never forget.."

Will Hunting: ..".. yeah.. it's like.. Polonius represents mainstream wisdom about morality.. Polonius expostulates about conventional morality, about the most painstaking old-school conventional morality.. actually, sorry, Elsa, not old-school.."

Elsa (Minnie Driver): ..".. new-school?.."

Will Hunting: ..".. yeah, elsa, new-school modern-age.. VERY modern-day morality.. "neither a borrower or a lender be..".. or is it.. "neither a borrower nor a lender be.."

Elsa (Minnie Driver): .."... oh .. yeah.. or.. or nor.."

Will Hunting:..".. yeah.. an if they might.... well.. well.. WE know.. "

Elsa: .."... heh heh heh.."

Will Hunting: ..".. sorry.. just talking nonsense.. nonsense.. quoting random quotes from Shakespeare's Hamlet.. just thought their might be an implicit stream-of-consciousness with Polonius.. 'tis true 'tis pity.. 'tis pity 'tis true. and .. uh.. uh.. 'tis 'tis pity in true.. wait.. i'm getting mixed.."

Elsa: ..".. hahahahhaaha.."

Will Hunting: ..".. so .. Gertrude says .. to Polonius.. more matter, with less art.. because art is etiquette.. and Polonius is the master of courtroom etiquette.. of courtly etiquette.."

Elsa:..".. courtroom.. courtly .. etiquette.. like in Night Court.. like in actual State Courts.. like Judges with gaffers.."

Will Hunting: ..".. you know.. elsa.. I think.. I have a book called.. "The English Parliament".. got it from a used book store for two or three dollars.. and it talks about the Magna Carta.. I read it at least twenty or more years ago.. but I think it said that English Government was at first based on the English Court.. but I think literally it was the Court of the Law that was the English Court.. that became the basis for English Governments of the future in general.."

Elas: ..".. and that was the Magna Carta.."

Will Hunting: ..".. Hey YEAHHH.. didn't think of that.. at all. it might've been.. it might of been.. I'm sure that principle was at least hugely related to the Magna Carta.."

Elsa: ..".. the Magna Carta was signed under King John.. right..?.."

Will Hunting:..".. YEAHHH.. it was.. you're right.. yeah.. yeah.. it was.. I'm sure. .yeah .. you're right.. it was.. and so Polonius.."

Elsa: ..".. Polonius of the Court of King John.."

Will Hunting: ..".. hahahahah.. yeah.. Polonius represents like.. the real-deal morality that we're all supposed to believe in .. like black-and-white morality and moral values... basic right and wrong .. that's what Polonius believes in.. but a very hahaha.. this is real funny.. he comes off as the most, staid, archaic Shakespeare commentater alive.."

Elsa:..".. Polonius.. ?.."

Will Hunting:..."... yeah.. he comes off as the Polonius of Shakespeare commentaters .. hey .. that's interesting.. real interesting.. by indirections directions find.. by this bait of falsehood, we find this carp of truth.. that's what this commentater did.."

Elsa: ..".. what's that from..?.."

Will Hunting: ..".. ah.. Hamlet.."

Elsa: ..".. oh.. sorry.."

Will Hunting:..".. that's okay.. elsa.. that's okay.. that's real okay.. because I want to remember these quotes are from.."

Elsa: .."..- Hamlet.."

Will Hunting:..".. yeah.. Else.. yeah.. and it's like "

Elsa: ..".. Hamlet.. you're Hamlet?.. Will?.. heyyy... William.. you're name's William.."

Will Hunting: ..".. hey ... yeah.. yeah.. yeah.. never thought of it that way.. never once thought of it that way.. good for YOU.... so this commentator of an ancient, Polonius cast of thought.. he said Polonius was the owner of the shallow wisdom of this world.. of this court of Elsi- "..

Elsa: ..".. ohh.. NOOhhhoohh..."

Will Hunting:.. ".. but see.. Elsa.. he said that because he went over every word.. every word of what Polonius said to his son... Laertes.. and he found so much, so much that was wrong with Polonius's concept of etiquette and basic, common-sensical morality..."

Elsa: ..".. ohh.. oohhh.. how did you.. find that out.."

Will Hunting:..".. it was Norton (Stellan Skarsgarde).. see I didn't figure this out myself.. not sure if I could have.."

Elsa: ..".. oohhhoohhh..!!.."

Will Hunting: .. but Norton was my matt teacher.. and he explained all of this.. I mean.. ALL of this too me.. and he said.. their's this kink over sense.. this twist of sensibility to these seeming seemself archaic Shakespeare commentaters.. they think of the prose and linguistics and subtext.. ahh.. "

Elsa: ..".. ahh.."

Will Hunting: ..".. ahh.. ESPECIALLY.."

Elsa: ..".. especially.."

Will Hunting:.. ".. these archaic.."

Elsa: ..".. seemingly archaic.."

Will Hunting:.. ".. yeah.. heh.. yeah.. these seemingly archaic.. "

Else: ..".. SEEMINGLY archaic.."

Will Hunting: ...".. yeah.. see. they say such subversive things.."

Elsa: ..".. whooaa..."

Will Hunting:..".. like that Polonius is the master or owner of the shallow wisdom of this world.."

Elsa: ..".. wait.. oh wait.. I get it.. oh silly dumb egghead-me.. no egghead me.. imen.. i'm so dumb.. you were just explaining all that.. DUHHH.. Else.."..

Will Hunting: ...".. that's okay.. elsa.. never have to apologise to me... never have to apologise to me.."

Elsa: ..".. or me either.."

Will Hunting:..".. it's like the shallow wisdom of the world.."

Elsa: ..".. wait... sorry.. i'm just.. sorry.."
