At the end of "Superman; man of steel", directed by Steven Spielberg.... the 15 hour, 14 minute version..... Lana Lang sees a vision.. as she's time-travelled into the past, into the World War II-era.... (I might not have had this idea if I hadn't had the sleep from the fatiuge caused by Angelina Jolie's munchausen).... Lana Lane (embeth davidtz) sees Hitler.. and Hitler has just found out.. that due to Nazi pet-by-law-ordinances... one of his, Hitler's.... daschunds...?... Hitler owned some beautiful wolf-like dogs... were they.. daschunds.... I think they were... I think Hitler owned daschunds.. that one of Hitler's daschunds has been sent into the gas-chambers to be.. sob sob.. cremated.... Hitler (Robin Williams) can't stop crying.. he can't stop crying ...at what has happened to his beloved daschund.. this is the vision that Lana Lang (embeth davidtz) sees when she has time-travelled - as a side-effect of huge, apocalyptic things Superman is doing with weather-phenomena - as a side-effect of this Lana Lang time-travels back in time to Hitler's home.. and Lana Lang cries....
