Amy Adams time seems to be up as Superman’s love interest Lois Lane.
The “Man of Steel” and “Justice League” actresses revealed her character’s fate in a sit-down with Nicole Kidman for Variety‘s “Actors on Actors” series.
“I think I’m out of the DC Universe now,” Adams said. “I think they’re revamping that. I don’t know the details.”
Adams’ remarks are not an absolute confirmation, but further fuel rumours that Warner Bros. is looking to move on from current iterations of films like “Man of Steel”.
“There’s a recognition that some parts of the previous movies didn’t work,” a source previously told The Hollywood Reporter. “Both statements back up WarnerMedia CEO John Stankey, who previously said that some of the company’s franchises “can do better.”
Speaking of the DC movie universe, “Aquaman” starring Jason Momoa, Amber Heard and Nicole Kidman hits theatres Dec. 21.
