Star Wars Land will open in 2019 in both Disneyland and Disney World!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Construction has been underway on the most massive development all US based Disney Parks have seen in a generation and now we know when we can expect Star Wars Land to open.
Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed today that the Star Wars Land expansion on both the Disneyland Park in Anaheim and Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando will open in just two short years. So, we can help time move faster while we're counting down the days to Episode IX by getting to explore a whole new world of attractions at both Disney Parks!
Speaking as a massive Disney Parks fanboy (I'm heading out to Disneyland for my birthday next week and somehow snagged a reservation at Club 33 to celebrate my 36th year on this planet) I'm super excited to see how the vibe of both developments jibes with their parks. Hollywood Studios is an underrated park as it is, with some of my favorite attractions at any Disney Park (Tower of Terror, Rock n Roller Coaster, The Indiana Jones Stunt Show and The Great Movie Ride) and the addition of Star Wars Land is going to take away that underdog park vibe the day it opens. I don't look forward to those crowds!
Disneyland is a more tricky property. So much of what I love about that park is it's very close to the same experience I had as a kid and the beauty of that place is it's kind of timeless and families can pass similar experiences from generation to generation. So much of that is based on the feel of the park, not necessarily the rides (although I'll always miss the 20,000 Leagues ride) and Star Wars Land is going to be a giant addition.
Disney has some of the smartest people in the world taking all this into consideration, so I'm not nervous about it, just curious to see how it all fits together. As a massive Star Wars fan this is only good news. Can't wait to see how the new sections look and how they grow over the years.
What about you folks?
