The Mandarin: .. Pottery and silk.. the Ancient to Modern Chinese Destiny has always been .. pottery and silk.. and I feel my destiny has always been .. pottery and silk.. and I believe Destiny has almost done something that precedes the notion of .. choosing me.. like I is Destiny rather than my having been chosen by Destiny.. or chosen as Destiny.. not even chosen as Destiny... I get.. sorry.. no sense of choice in relation to my Destiny.. I is Destiny.. their is no me to Destiny.. their is an I to my.. Destiny.. my Destiny.. it is actually very little mine my Destiny... but I perhaps will for the affectation of language call it my Destiny.. for it is still too personal to call it my Destiny.. for it is such an abstract, objective phenomenon this Destiny of .. mine.. of mine.. I is Destiny.. and it is a Destiny which I feel China is merely the sandstone old archaic rock and sand foundations of.. as if China is simply a rudimentary component of my Destiny.. hah.. my Destiny.. and yet.. what a texture of rich soft subtle flavour of gentle mild silk and substance to the art and culture of Ancient China.. I feel .. perhaps.. I underestimate China.. greatly.. greatly.. underestimate the subtlety and nuance of it's culture.. and perhaps if Destiny did not choose me I was in fact chosen by China.. and this was a .. choice.. the word choice like an abyss a well a hole in my soul.. tickey tickey tembo.. a well in my soul is the word choice.. a hole.. Destiny seems like such a great monolith.. and China is so little monolithic that it cannot but be the faculty of choice in me.. such a non-monolithic, delocalized choice in me is the work and art of China.. something so different from this thing, this phenomenon, this silk monolith phenomenon called Destiny.. I feel .. Destiny.. is a wall.. and.. an engine.. my Destiny is both a wall and an engine.. and Chinese culture is perhaps both neither.. Chinese culture is calligraphy and the silk gestures of ink in the handwriting of calligraphy.. like a silk ink gesture is the culture and art of China in the idea of my soul... and perhaps China itself is the belief IN the idea of my soul.. and Destiny, the wall and engine of Destiny, is something that eventually perhaps does not regard .. a soul.. the soul.. souls.. but China and Chinese art and culture is nothing but soul.. nothing but pottery, silk, jade emerald and calligraphy aka soul...
monologue for the Mandarin written by Hanno Ridal Raudsepp for Jackie Chan to play the Mandarin in "Iron man 4" with Gwyneth and Tony Robert Downey Junior.. and Guy Pierce and Don Cheadle... and Terence Brown.. that's his name right from the first Iron man movie.. Terence Brown?...
