.. this is very sad, crushingly sad.. actually.. but perhaps their was an Iago who Shakespeare once wrote who was.. the Father... who was a Father who routinely blamed his son.. Roderigo.. his son Cassio?.. and who finally manipulated his son Othello?.. who may have in this extant version of the play been a white man.. this Othello who was the son of Iago may have been white, Othello as a white man...

... If you read Shakespeare's "Othello" you might get a vision of what this quintessential, universal Fatherhood Iago was like.. what kind of a father he was like.. always blaming his sons.. always feeling or displaying somehow that a harsh word was better than a kinder one.. He may have been gentlest with his son Othello.. but such arcane manipulations of his son Othello may have followed that.. it became unspeakable.. the manipulations which this father subjected his son to were.. unspeakable.. unspeakable.. was this the Iago who so outraged A. C. Bradley...
