Loki: ...".. we suddenly find out he's our father.. our father is not supposed to be German .. but our father now looks German.. and he's very stupid, mind-bogglingly stupid.. he seems to have taken acid and fried his brains he can't even talk, he can pronounce words impeccably.. but .. he .. can't.. talk.. he's that stupid.. he's your stupid German father.. but because he can't talk that makes him arrogant, very, very arrogant... he takes it as personally empowering to not make sense to people, to not make the slightest sense when he talks to his son... he takes this as an advantage he has when he talks to his son, like he can win arguments by being so impossibly elusive during a conversation simply by not making any sense whatsoever.. imen.. it's hard to explain the lack of sense in his speech... it's like .. no sense at all.. but more like no brain at all in his speech.. you're father speaks brainlessly, 100% brainlessly, and he finds that an advantage in his conversations because that means you'll never pin him down and in fact you never do and he feels he wins arguments thereby... by talking brainlessly... and his arguments toward you are in fact equivocations and justifications of cruel, mean, petty, arrogant behaviour from him.. which makes him evil.. and makes his evil so monolithically empowered by his brainlessness of speech.... it's his verbal leverage in conversation with his son.. this approximately eighty-year old young-looking handsome for his age father who looks like a German older man, a German older father who has somehow decided he should be both evil and stupid and have both personal faculties empower, enstrengthen, and embolden each other in him as reciprocal personal qualities...."
.. a monologue for Ralph Fiennes's Loki in Roger Donaldson's, "The Mighty Avengers"...
