Gucci introduces their new perfume for women – Gucci Bamboo.. And here, we have an interview with the gorgeous star on her beauty secrets and on what makes the perfect Gucci woman..
Named after their already-existing collection of accessories, Gucci Bamboo Fragrance reflects confidence and ultra-femininity of the modern woman. It is a floral and woody scent, opening with citrusy accords of bergamot evolving to the exotic floral heart of ylang-ylang. Casablanca lily and orange blossom emerge through with base notes of sandalwood, Tahitian vanilla and amber.
It is the ultimate fragrance to reflect the Gucci woman – and in particular Bamboo’s characteristics – strong, and graceful.
The glass art deco bottle is pretty special, in the shape of a diamond with a pale pink liquid, melting together delicateness with strong lines to make it a real visual statement on your dressing table.
Krista received one of these gorgeous bottles here at the BATD headquarters, and she describes it as a “lovely fragrance to wear for summer, it is pretty and light but still has a distinctive smell that lasts.”
Gucci Bamboo is available as 50ml for £68 and 75ml for £80, with additional body lotion, shower gel and deodorant.

She may currently be known as Gisele from the Fast & Furious franchise, but next year Gal Gadot will reincarnate Lynda Carter‘s most inspirational female character – Wonder Woman, in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Wonder Woman movie is set for release in 2017. Gadot will debut her take on the role in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, which is due for release in March 2016.

What drew you to the project, why did you agree to be the face of Gucci Bamboo?
I started my career as a model, I’ve always had respect for the fashion world, and having the opportunity to front a campaign for one of the world’s biggest fashion houses is incredible. As soon as I read the campaign’s script I said yes immediately. The idea behind this fragrance was so different because of the woman who it represents—she is not the typical femme fatale of the beauty world, I was drawn to her because she has this realness of being both strong and feminine.
What was your first reaction when you were approached to be the face of Gucci Bamboo?
I was very flattered, when I was approached to be the face of Gucci Bamboo. Scent is very important to me in all aspects in my life, including my laundry! (with a laugh) Because I travel a lot, I go to many duty frees, and one of my favorite things to do is to go to the perfume department and experiment with all the different scents. So when Gucci called me I was thrilled because I love their products.
Tell us about the Bamboo Woman: who is she and what makes you like her?
The Bamboo woman has it all. She is strong, independent, empowered, and at the same time feminine elegant and sophisticated. All men want to be with her, and all women relate to her.
What is your beauty routine?
When it comes to beauty routines, I drink a lot of water. I clean my skin really well and use a lot of moisturizers. I don’t wear a lot of makeup in my day-to-day life because wear a lot of makeup when I work. Really in general I try to take care of myself from the inside out. I try to eat health, keep my training regime, and be happy and enjoy life.
What is the best makeup secret you have learned while on set?
The best makeup secret I ever learned on set is to mix the makeup with a lot of moisturizer and then apply it on the skin. It is easier to apply and is better for the skin.
Are there any makeup or hair items that you won’t leave your house without?
I never leave the house without LIP BALM
How do you stay in shape and what’s your favorite fitness tip?
Exercise is really important to me, especially since I need to be physically fit for the roles I’ve played. I’ve learnt a lot about training and weights for playing Wonder Woman. I just keep active—I keep doing everything that challenges me, everything that I feel like trying out. I really get into trying new sports: My favorite thing is paddle boarding because it combines working out and I love the ocean and it calms me.
